
Materials:
- Super Bulky Yarn
- 6.5mm crochet hook
- Stitch marker
- Tapestry needle
- Pollyfill (optional)
Abbreviations
- MC = Magic Circle
- ST = Stitch
- SC = Single Crochet
- SC2TOG = Single Crochet Two Stitches Together (I recommend using the invisible SC2TOG for this pattern. See below for instructions!
Invisible SC2TOG:
Insert hook into the front loop of the first stitch

Insert hook into the front loop of the next stitch

Yarn over and pull through 2 loops

Yarn over and pull through 2 loops

Pattern Notes
- Do not slip stitch or chain at the start of the round
- Place a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round to indicate the starting stitch
- 2SC indicates placing 2 single crochet in one stitch
- You can use any super bulky yarn for this pattern!
- You can choose to make a flat or a stuffed heart! See the photo below for an example of both the flat and stuffed hearts

Part 1:
MC, 6SC
Round 1: 2SC in each ST around (12 ST total)
Round 2: SC in each ST around (12 ST total)
Cut yarn leaving a long tail, fasten off and continue to part 2

Part 2:
MC, 6SC
Round 1: 2SC in each ST around (12 ST total)
Round 2: SC in each ST around (12 ST total)
Round 3: SC in the next 6 ST, SC around the 12 ST from part 1 (joining parts 1 and 2 together), SC in the final 6 ST from part 2

Using a tapestry needle use the tail from part 1 to sew together the hole between parts 1 and 2

Round 4: SC in each SR around (24 ST total)
Round 5: *SC, SC, SC2TOG* repeat* around (18 ST total)
Round 6: SC in each ST around (18 ST total)
Round 7: *SC, SC2TOG* repeat* around (12 ST total)
Optional: if you plan to stuff your heart I recommend you adding the polyfill now
Round 8: SC in each ST around (12 ST total)
Round 9: SC2TOG around (6 ST total)
Fasten off, sew the bottom of the heart together and weave in ends
